About Bloom Magic Weddings

Kirsten Gordon

Kirsten Gordon’s floral story began when she was let loose in her mother’s flower beds at age 5. As a fourth generation floral designer, Kirsten comes from a family that started one of the first commercial rose green houses outside Philadelphia in the 1940s. Sustainable, local flowers are her passion. Kirsten is inspired by colors, interior design, images from traveling the world, and falling in love with plants themselves. There is a story in each of us. Kirsten takes inspiration from that story to create custom floral design that speaks to her client’s personal journey.

Kirsten lives in Highland Park, Illinois and is a graduate of the Chicago School of Flower Design along with The New York Institute of Art and Design. She has 25+ years of experience and extensive coursework at The Chicago Botanic Garden and was recently featured on HOUZZ. Kirsten is a proponent of Slowflowers – committed to American grown flowers. Serving clients on the North Shore, Kirsten welcomes you to set up an appointment to view her works and meet directly.
