Floral Wedding and/or Event Agreement
Bloom Magic Weddings (“BMW”) appreciates the opportunity to provide floral décor services to your wedding/event. We strive to provide you with high quality flowers, designs, and services to make your day memorable. Please carefully review the terms of our agreement and billing procedures:
All wedding/event consultations are made by appointment. Your first consultation and estimate is complimentary. Future changes to your estimate may occur any time after booking and up until 30 days prior to your wedding/event.
We require a 25% deposit to secure the date for weddings and continue the design process. Because of the time we devote to planning and designing, the deposit is non-refundable.
Your wedding proposal includes 6 hours of meeting, design and administrative time. If the scope of the project changes or you wish to redesign, time past 6 hours will be billed at $150 per hour.
To ensure a high level of quality and product, BMW strives for “Best in Bloom” and reserves the right to make substitutions where necessary. Flowers of equal or greater value will be used, and the color scheme will be maintained. Please inform us if you feel any flowers are unacceptable alternatives. Due to the nature of organic perishable materials, BMW cannot be responsible for variations in flower size or color.
All vases, containers, arches, candle votives, etc. used for your event belong to BMW unless otherwise stated on your floral estimate. You are responsible for returning all rental equipment (you will receive a numbered list) the week following your event, or BMW will retrieve these items from your event for a fee upon conclusion of the event. If rental items are missing or damaged, BMW will contact you with the amount due and charge your credit card on file, unless you have provided another form of payment at that time.
If you wish to provide you own containers or cases, these items need to be in the BMW studio no less that 10 days prior to your event. Items should be given in clean, usable condition as you wish them to be seen at your event.
BMW will carry out the designs and decorations in accordance with the policies of your event venue(s). Please be aware that in terms of burning candles, attachments to walls or ceilings, we have many solutions to create your desired look. BMW is a licensed business by the State of Illinois and carries business and liability insurance.
An additional 25% of your balance is due 6 months prior to your event. 100% of your balance after deposits is due 30 days prior to your event. Any changes in your floral needs should be made at that time, and a final count must be provided. Any changes made less than 30 days before the event will be added to your final payment. At this point, no further changes can be made, as the flowers will have been purchased. If possible, flowers ordered for removed items will be added to upgrade other arrangements.
Delivery, set up, “flipping”, relocating, and rental retrieval fees are quoted based on the information provided by the client. Should additional unexpected or unplanned labor needs arise, this will be discussed with the client and billed to the credit card on file.
Photography of the work completed by BMW may be used for advertising or other uses in the public domain including social media, and you hereby give your consent. First names only will be released unless agreed otherwise.
BMW cannot be responsible for/make replacements if there is inclement weather damage to florals for outdoor events.
BMW is a full service floral décor service. We aim to present a fully coordinated custom package that enhances and elevates your special occasion. We ask that in the event your guests decide to contribute to the décor, you let us know in advance. We also ask that your photographer give credit for BMW’s work on social media. The remaining balance is due the day of the event, and will be charged to your credit card on file.
We are pleased and honored to bring BMW to your event. If you would like flowers for any related events, such as rehearsal dinner or shower(s) we offer a 10% discount on those related functions to your friends and family.
